Finally got a chance to flip through the latest Crate and Barrel catalog last night after I wrapped up some client work (my calendar is finally clearing up if you’ve been thinking about e-decorating!) and though most of it I’d already seen online, I loved the styling of these shots and was introduced to these new pieces (hint, the media console and armoire!):

Last Thursday I spent part of the afternoon at The Bachelor Pad wrapping up a few projects and making our final list! We even managed to squeeze in a quick trip to West Elm while our spray paint was drying. And before I left I got a few shots of where things are now… which is NOT styled and not even where things will really live, just kinda plopped in post shopping.

Well, I’ve been in an intense search for dining chairs since we moved nine months ago, but everything that I like is out of our budget (which is teensy tiny) and I haven’t had much luck looking for vintage chairs. When your sofa is neutral, the easiest way to update your living room is by changing pillows – they can be a way to freshen up seasonally, or to bring in a trendy color or pattern without breaking the bank. Right now I’m pretty loving shades of blue and gray for a soothing and spa-like look. Bonus points for geometric details.
