We’re Engaged!

Something else happened over the weekend while we were celebrating our anniversary…

Ryan asked me to marry him!

Clearly, I said yes

It wasn’t really a surprise, as we’ve been not-quite-planning for months and I knew he’d been ring shopping. But it was at home on Saturday, sweet and thoughtful and on one knee. And I cried, of course. The last few days have been a whirlwind of trying to reach important family members and starting that chain of announcements before anything went public!

Nothing has been officially planned yet and no date set, but we’re looking at next fall here in Seattle. I’m sure I’ll post occasionally as major elements are settled, but I don’t plan to turn this into a wedding blog or share every detail. But I can’t wait to be married to the love of my life!
