I was perusing Etsy the other day for pillows and happened to spot a set of coasters made from kilim weavings. Typically you see a kilim as a rug or pillow, but when one is damaged, why not use the scraps for something a little more tabletop friendly? Not only do I love the mixture of colors and patterns, but I think these would look amazing in my parents’ house… remind me to nag my mom for a home tour sometime.

Anyway, here are my favorites, but there are lots more in the shop, Sukan, all for the tune of just $36 for the set.

I also love this for someone (like me) who’s not willing to make the jump into kilim all the way. Testing the waters, if you will

Hi, Maggie. Just happened across your blog, and wanted to let you know that the same kilim coasters are available from http://www.rugandrelic.com, for half the price, and free shipping. And yes – they ARE wonderful! :)
