It’s the first Thursday of the month (March already?!) and that means it’s not only free museum day here in Seattle (and other cities!) but that it’s Artist of the Month day! This month I was excited to stumble upon chalk artist Dana Tanamachi. You might recognize her work – she’s contributed to catalogs for West Elm and for Oprah! Her ability to manipulate chalk into beautiful shading and detail is impressive, and her work is graphic and nostaligic. Well, why don’t I let you see for yourself?
Now head over to her site, cause there’s lots more to see!
