Are you doing anything fun this weekend? We’ll be scrambling around preparing for the yard sale, and then packing packing packing. Plus we’re hosting a going-away party for one of my best friends (sad face).

I’ve already been getting questions about how I plan to decorate the next apartment. Above is a little snapshot of the swatches I’m liking… if I get Ryan to sign off on it is another question! I tore the page out of the J.Crew catalog because I love the color of that dress and think it would be smashing with the blue. We’re moving into a place with kind of tan walls and we have mostly neutral large pieces, so I’m thinking it might be fun to paint something that bright tomato red.

Yep, a major item on my apartment wish-list: COLOR! I’m excited to have some fun with it. Also on the list: more seating, hidden storage, more bold mixing of pattern, and some kind of plan for the bedroom. We never really finished it here, so we’ll see if I can get some motion on that in the new place.
