Wanted to share a little mini-project we tackled earlier this week. The photos are not styled AT ALL but you get the idea.
Our little hall entry – not a total before, but sort of a since-the-before (aka a new table, that will eventually have a skirt to hide our grocery bags):
The picture worked better with the larger (higher) table and didn’t seem quite as random. Clearly too small with the new table.
So we swapped out a frame we already had and put in this marbled paper that everyone has been raving about.
I picked mine up from Paper Mojo. Warning: the shipping is way more expensive than the paper (which was $4.50 for a HUGE piece – this has been trimmed to fit in the frame), so if you know of a local paper store that carries marbled paper, you may consider that. Or just order a ton of paper at once to make the shipping worth it. Even with shipping though, this was only $15. Can’t wait to get some paint on the walls and cover that table! Our little basket for keys is from Goodwill!

Looks great, I love this idea!!!
Hi, Maggie! Just found your lovely blog, and I’m a fan of these purple stairs and all the light flooding your home—really, really pretty.
I’ll definitely be back to see what else you have up your sleeve.
Thanks Maddie, and welcome! Don’t get too attached to the purple stairs though, as their days are numbered – we’ll be painting them white with a cream painted runner in just a few months (the purple was here when we moved in!). Hope to see you again soon and thanks for the comment! Maggie
