Sunday I spent a four hours with my bff Laura getting ready for her Thanksgiving table. I posted some inspiration pics yesterday, now I wanted to share the general (very rough sketch) of what her table will look like. Next week I’ll be over there to snap some photos to share with you!

We’re going for whites and metallics with a hint of rustic in three horizontal burlap “runners” with gold chargers and Laura’s wedding china. We are hoping to still find a set of antique transferware salad plates, but these Crate and Barrel sparkle plates are our back-up! For florals, I plan to use dried hydrangeas and shafts of wheat. Name cards will be written on gold “leaves” glued to white painted mini pumpkins at each spot.

We have about 85% of the pieces together and I can’t wait to see it all in one place. We found some great deals by hitting up JCPenney, Target, Ross, and Bed Bath and Beyond. We also swung by Pier One and the Dollar Tree to kick start her Christmas decor, which I’ll tackle next!

I LOVE this color scheme, and the name-tag idea is so cute! Thanks for sharing!
